CV

Yorgos Stassinopoulos was born in Athens in 1966. He received his B.A. in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business in 1991, and in 1999, he received his Ph.D. in Economic and Political History of Greece from Panteion University. From 2001 to 2004 he lectured in Political Economy at the University of Crete, Dept. of Economics. Since  2006 he has been a member of the faculty of the Department of International and European Studies, at the Panteion University.. His earlier research includes economic policy, monetary economics and history of economic thought; his current research interests focus on international political economy.
