George Kapoulas studied Mathematics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece). He continued his studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and was awarded a Master of Science and a Philosophia Doctor degree, specializing at Mathematical Logic and Computability Theory. The mentioned areas are his main scientific interests.
He has taught at the University of Crete, Peiraeus University, Thessaly University, Ikaron School (Greek Air Force Academy) Greek Open University Athens University of Economics and Bussiness.
