Andreas Gofas is Professor of International Relations at Panteion University of Athens and and Director of the European Cultural Centre of Delphi. He is also:

  • Academic representative of Greece at the High Council of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence.
  • Co-director of the Olympia Summer Academy.
  • Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of International Relations (IDIS).
  • Member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Council of the National Council for Research and Innovation.

In the past, Andreas has served as President of the High Council of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence and has held research positions at the:

  • NYU School of Law (Emile Noël Senior Fellow and Fulbright Visiting Scholar),
  • Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, EUI (Jean Monnet Fellow),
  • University of Sheffield (Marie Curie Fellow),
  • Yale University (Visiting Scholar),
  • Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (Postdoctoral Fellow), and
  • London School of Economics (Visiting Fellow).

His books include:,
