Law degree in Thessaloniki, post-graduate degree in European Law in Brussels (IEE/ULB), PhD in Thessaloniki.
Founding member of the European Lawyers’ Association (UAE)
Former member of the Hellenic Competition Commission, of the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission and of the Lugano Convention Steering Committee – president of the EC Council civil law commission, Greek presidency 2003.
Former Judge, President of Chambers of the European Union Civil Service Tribunal, 2005-2011
Member of the Governing Board of the European Lawyers’Institute of Human Rights (IDHAE) and of the jury for the Ludovic Trarieux prize, associate member of the International Academy of Comparative Law (IACL)
