Βιογραφικό Σημείωμα

Η Μαριλένα Κοππά είναι Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Συγκριτικής Πολιτικής στο Τμήμα Διεθνών, Ευρωπαϊκών και Περιφερειακών Σπουδών του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου. Αποφοίτησε από την Νομική Αθηνών το 1985. Σπούδασε Πολιτική Επιστήμη στο Πανεπιστήμιο Paris X-Nanterre, όπου απέκτησε το Διδακτορικό της στη Συγκριτική Πολιτική το 1991. Δούλεψε για χρόνια ως Ειδική Σύμβουλος στο Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών σε θέματα Βαλκανίων, Ευρωπαϊκής Ολοκλήρωσης και Διεύρυνσης.

Διετέλεσε Πρόεδρος του Ινστιτούτου Στρατηγικών και Αναπτυξιακών Μελετών (ΙΣΤΑΜΕ), από το 2006 έως το 2007.

Διετέλεσε Μέλος του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου από τον Οκτώβριο 2007 έως τον Ιούνιο 2014. Υπήρξε Συντονίστρια της Ομάδας των Σοσιαλιστών και Δημοκρατών στην Υποεπιτροπή Ασφάλειας και Άμυνας και Αντιπρόεδρος της Μικτής Κοινοβουλευτικής Επιτροπής ΕΕ-Τουρκίας. Ήταν μέλος της Επιτροπής Εξωτερικών Υποθέσεων και αναπληρωματικό μέλος των Επιτροπών Διεθνούς Εμπορίου και Μεταφορών.

Είναι συγγραφέας σειράς άρθρων και βιβλίων για τα Βαλκάνια, τις μειονότητες, τον εκδημοκρατισμό, τον Εθνικισμό και την Ευρωπαϊκή Πολιτική.

Βιογραφικό

Ο Γιώργος Λ. Ευαγγελόπουλος είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής Πολιτικής Φιλοσοφίας και Διεθνών Σχέσεων στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο. Είναι, επίσης, εταίρος του Ινστιτούτου Διεθνών Σχέσεων (ΙΔΙΣ). Σπούδασε Νομικά στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, ενώ απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό (MSc) στις Ευρωπαϊκές Σπουδές από το LSE και διδακτορικό στις Διεθνείς Σχέσεις από το ίδιο Πανεπιστήμιο. Στο παρελθόν, έχει διατελέσει National Bank of Greece Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (2013-2014) του Ελληνικού Παρατηρητηρίου (Hellenic Observatory) του LSE. Από τις 15 Μαρτίου 2019 είναι CHS (Center For Hellenic Studies) Associate in International Affairs and Law στο Harvard University.

Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα επικεντρώνονται σε τρείς περιοχές: στη Διεθνή Πολιτική Θεωρία, στη Φιλοσοφία της Επιστήμης και τις Διεθνείς Σχέσεις, όπως και στην Ανάλυση της Εξωτερικής Πολιτικής. Έχει εκδώσει έξι βιβλία, με πιο πρόσφατο το Πολιτική Φιλοσοφία και Διεθνείς Σχέσεις: Παναγιώτης Κονδύλης και Αλέξανδρος Κοζέφ (Ευρασία, 2019). Τέλος, έχει συγγράψει άνω των σαράντα άρθρων και κεφαλαίων σε βιβλία, που καλύπτουν μια ευρεία θεματική, με έμφαση όμως σε ζητήματα της πολιτικής φιλοσοφίας και της φιλοσοφίας της επιστήμης.

Short Bio

Maria Meng-Papantoni is born in Athens and is Associate Professor of European Business Law at the Panteion University of Athens. She is also Visiting Professor at the Europa-Institut of the Saarland University in Germany. She taught International Economic Law at the Law School of Lobachevsky University - Nizhny Novgorod (TEMPUS exchange program 2008). She also taught European Company law at the Law School of Reinmin University-Bejing (2015 Summer School), at the Law School of the University of Wuhan-China and at the Law School of the University of Yunnan-China.

 

She studied law at the Universities of Athens and Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). She holds a PhD in Business Law from the University of Panthéon-Assas (Paris II), D.E.A. droit des affaires et droit économique from the University of PanthéonAssas (Paris II) and a Law degree from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She was a fellow of NATO. She was a Visiting Researcher and Fellow at Georgetown University-USA Institute of International Economic Law (August-September 2008 and August-September 2009).

 

Her interests cover EU institutional law and governance, the EU internal market with special focus on services of general economic interest, as well as EU energy law and EU external relations with special focus on the external relations of the euro-zone.

 

Further, she has published five monographs, on the intervention in company law (in French, Bruylant/Sakkoulas, 1998), on the investment advice and portfolio management (in Greek, Nomiki Vivliothiki, 2000), on Energy law (in Greek, Nomiki Vivliothiki, 2003), on the services of general economic interest (in Greek, Nomiki Viliothiki, 2013) and on the EU internal market (art. 26.2 TFEU): free movement of goods, persons, services and capital (in Greek, Nomiki Viliothiki, 2013). She has also published over a hundred articles and case notes, in English, French and Greek, in periodicals and in edited volumes.

 

Maria Meng-Papantoni has been a member of legislative committees (coding capital market law and civil aviation law).

  

Since 2010 she has been a member of the Management Committee of the European Center of Economic and Financial Law (ECEFIL) and since 2017 she is the Director of ECEFIL.

 

She is a reviewer in the legal journal “Zeitschrift für europarechtliche Studien” (ZEuS) and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Greek Journal “European Law”.

 

Maria is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Energy Law and member of the Scientific Committee of the European Federation of Energy Law Associations.

 

She is a member of the Hellenic Association of European Law, the Hellenic Annex of the International Law Association, the European Society of International Law, the Hellenic University Association of European Studies, the Hellenic Society of International Law and International Relations, the Hellenic Association of Greek Trade Associates, and the Hellenic Banking and Capital Market Law Company.

Georgios L. Evangelopoulos is Associate Professor of Political Philosophy and International Relations at the Panteion University of Social and Political Science in Athens. He is also a Fellow of the International Relations Institute (IRI) and a former National Bank of Greece Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Hellenic Observatory of the LSE (2013-2014).

Georgios holds a PhD in International Relations from the LSE and a law degree from the University of Athens School of Law. His research interests focus on three areas: International Political Theory, Philosophy of Science and International Relations, as well as Foreign Policy Analysis.

He has authored or co-authored six books, the most recent of which is Political Philosophy and International Relations: Panajotis Kondylis and Alexandre Kojève (Eurasia Publications, Athens 2019). Further contributions consist in more than forty articles and book chapters that cover a broad range of subjects, mostly in political philosophy and the philosophy of science.
